Sad Day For Kenyans as Reggae MC Jahmby Koikai Dies


It is indeed a sorrowful day for Kenyans as the nation mourns the passing of one of its beloved female celebrities, Njambi Koikai. Known for her vibrant personality and unmatched love for reggae, Njambi's death has left an indelible void in the hearts of many.

Njambi had previously reached out to Kenyans, pleading for blood donations due to her prolonged battle with health complications. She had been hospitalized for an extended period and underwent surgery months ago after being diagnosed with multiple medical issues. Despite the efforts to save her, Njambi lost her fight last night.

The heartbreaking news was confirmed by Kisii Senator Gloria Orwoba, who has been by Njambi's side throughout her medical ordeal. Senator Orwoba, who has been a steadfast companion during Njambi's battle with endometriosis, reported her passing with deep sorrow. She shared that Njambi had been fighting endometriosis since the age of 13, enduring painful periods, a collapsed lung, and appendicitis over the years.

Njambi Koikai was more than just a patient; she was an entertainer who brought joy to many. As an MC at reggae shows, she captivated audiences with her energy and passion for the genre. Her unique dress code, reminiscent of reggae legends, made her a distinctive and beloved figure in Kenya's entertainment scene.
